It is with a heavy heart that Patrick’s Music must say goodbye to one of our longtime employees. Effective this past December, our Lesson Coordinator Tyler Halderman departed to join the Army Band as a trumpeter. Tyler will be missed by all here at Patrick’s, and we wish him the best of luck in his new endeavor.
Early on, trumpets were used to herald important announcements, call armies to battle, and serenade love songs. The trumpet has always been at the center of the band commanding attention. At one time it was the most popular instrument to play in any band or orchestra. A well played trumpet can easily be heard for more than a mile.
At Patrick’s Music School, we offer lessons in all of the brass instruments; trumpet, trombone, french horn, and tuba. Our lesson fee is $18.50 per lesson and you pay by the month. Our brass instructors are Jeff LaRose and Pierce Yamaoka. Call 559-224-7287 to make an appointment or to sign up for lessons.
The flute is considered one of the most beautiful and emotional instruments of the orchestra. The romantic qualities of a flute’s sound are undisputed, and as you listen to this young seven-year-old player you may be thinking, “That sounds so pretty! But will I ever be able to play like that?”
Actually you can play like that! It’s up to you. Sign up and it won’t be long before you are playing for family and friends. Lessons are $18.50 for each lesson and you pay by the month. Just call 559-224-7287 and talk to our lesson coordinator to schedule lessons with Colleen Carlson our flute instructor.
