Multi-instrumentalist, Giovann Najeh Mena, is the current guitar player of the local Fresno band Wee Beasties, who have gone on to play Grizzly Fest, Fresyes Fest, and many more shows. With 15 years of performing experience, he has studied with many recognized music instructors and educators such as Kevin Cooper, Mike Dana, Catherine Cooper, and Bobbi Westfield. He has taught for Kidmunity, Eleanor Roosevelt Community Learning Center, and The Learning Village. Currently, Gio serves as the general music teacher at Western Sierra Charter Schools, where he was recently awarded Educator of the Week from KSEE24. Fluent in most popular genres, he continues to study music and is looking forward to completing the credential program at Fresno State University. Multi-instrumentalist, Joel Mariano, has been playing and performing for most of his life. He received his bachelor’s degree in Music Education with an emphasis in Choral Music at Fresno State in 2015. He has worked under the direction of Dr. Anna Hamre and Dr. Tony Mowrer. In addition, he has studied under Dr. Anthony Radford and Brigid De Jong. Aside from teaching piano, guitar, voice and ukulele lessons, Joel also is a musician and worship leader at Via Church. He currently teaches students of all ages and experience levels. He strives to empower his students to have a life-long passion for music.
Danny has been playing guitar and piano for more than 30 years. He has been teaching piano and guitar in our studio for 12 years. Danny studied music and music theory at Fresno State University. He performs locally with several groups including the trio “Fantasy” and is an accomplished studio musician and arranger. He also teaches music at the Charlie Keyan Armenian Community School in Clovis.
Joel “Christian” Hernandez is a multi-instrumentalist and a former student of Patrick’s Music. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from UCLA in Music Education. Christian studied under Dr. Rosalind Wong and Dr. Inna Faliks Piano Performance and Education program at UCLA. He learned string instruments from high school music instructor Pamela Galicia and further studied mariachi violin from Jesus “Chuy” Guzman. While a piano specialist, Christian is able to teach violin, viola, cello, guitar, and ukulele. Currently, he works as the music instructor for Carter G. Woodson Charter School in Fresno.
